AUSTIN, TX, December 17, 2008 – deverus, Inc., a leading provider of software and support services for background screening companies completed its annual Client and Vendor Summit at the Austin, Texas Hilton. Shawn Rucks, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, led the group with representatives from twenty-two companies from throughout the United States.
The leaders from each company were availed to presentations and interactive seminars that included such topics as Thriving in Receding Waters, presented by Shawn Rucks; Hidden Revenue within Your System, presented by Tom Bisciglia, director of training for deverus; Marketing Strategies and Tactics, presented by Sean McElroy, director of marketing for deverus.
Also, included in the two day event was a Round Table Discussion that highlighted FeedBack for the Future as its topic. The first day was capped off with guided tours of the high security SurGard facility in North Austin where deverus co-locates its servers and web-based applications. The evening climaxed with a dinner and socializing at the famed, award winning Manuels restaurant in downtown Austin.
The second day was set aside for presentations from strategic vendors of deverus and the participants. These vendors included IntelliCorp, SJV & Associates, Convergence, ReferencePro.net, and National Background Data (NBD).
